Made out of a combination of Pine and MDF.
Note- Bunk Side rails are connected to post via metal brackets and bolt connection system, far superior than most other manufacturers- Stronger, less ware & tare especially when dismantling and reassembling. (no.17 spanner is required) Further the side rails are made out of 32 mm thick pine wood and not 22mm thick that most other manufactures use- increases strength and sturdiness.
Available in most Dulux or Plascon solid colors in swatch charts, available at most hardware stores.
Paint with a chalk based paint and seal with cobra polish.
Only wipe with wet cloth, apply more cobra polish occasionally, do not use strong cleaning chemicals like Mr Min etc.
Bunk is supplied with touch up paint.
Also available in a few wood stains with varnish, but can not touch up.
Recommended maximum weight for top bunk 80KG. Bottom double bed combined 140 kg Maximum. comes standard with dog leg supports under the chipboard base, extra dog leg can be added at cost of R120.00 to increase this maximum weight.
